Natasha believes that physical fitness and nutrition are of the utmost importance for every age group. Natasha LaBeaud Anzures started running at the age of 7 and immediately began to dream about the Olympics. By the end of her time at Folsom High School, she had qualified for the state meet 8 times, had 5 podium finishes, and placed 25th at the Footlocker National Championships. At Georgetown, Natasha qualified for nationals multiple times and was ranked third in the US for the 10k. Natasha now runs for Canada and has Olympic goals!
From her personal experiences, Natasha has developed training models focusing on injury prevention, mental fortitude, and positivity to make young athletes stronger from the inside out. 2nd Recess allows Natasha to share her passion and love for running and healthy eating with kids of all ages.
